Play-by-play
Times are from the video player.
0:00 to 1:18: feeling each other out
Both players defend cleanly and trade elixir. The Royal Giant pressure starts on MR. Gabbar's left lane.
1:18: LoneMoChi takes the first tower (0-1)
With about 1:33 left on the clock, the Royal Giant push breaks MR. Gabbar's left Princess Tower. A Royal Giant that is not distracted early will always chip a tower; this is the deck's whole plan.
2:16: MR. Gabbar answers (1-1)
In double elixir, with 0:35 left, a push behind Freeze takes LoneMoChi's left tower. Freeze locks the tower and the defenders at the same time, so everything already on the bridge hits for free.
2:38: LoneMoChi goes ahead again (1-2)
With 0:13 left, LoneMoChi breaks MR. Gabbar's right tower. One tower left each side, and the King Towers are now exposed.
2:49: the 2-second equaliser (2-2)
With 0:02 on the clock, MR. Gabbar's push takes LoneMoChi's right tower. Level at 2-2, straight into overtime.
3:28: overtime winner (3-2)
In sudden death, the next tower wins. With 1:08 left in overtime, MR. Gabbar drops Freeze on the King Tower and the push behind it finishes the job. Three crowns, +30 trophies.
What decided it
- Freeze timing. Both towers MR. Gabbar took came on Freeze. Holding it for the moment your troops are already touching the tower is what makes it worth 4 elixir.
- Not panicking at 1-2. Down a tower with 13 seconds left, the answer was a full push, not defense.
- Splash against cycle. Witch, Baby Dragon and Wizard punish Skeletons, Goblin-style swarms and the Fisherman's small support troops.
